The FCAT LAB is an online post-production workshop that offers support to feature film projects from Africa through post-production-oriented prizes and awards. At the same time, this initiative seeks to increase the visibility and opportunities for films in postproduction by introducing them to sales agents, distributors, VOD platforms and international buyers.

The FCAT LAB is an online post-production workshop that offers support to feature film projects from Africa through post-production-oriented prizes and awards. At the same time, this initiative seeks to increase the visibility and opportunities for films in postproduction by introducing them to sales agents, distributors, VOD platforms and international buyers.
The FCAT LAB 2023 take place online, within the framework of “The Palaver Tree” programme, the annual space dedicated to professional and training initiatives at the FCAT. The dates scheduled for FCAT LAB will be Thursday 4th and Friday 5th May 2023.
Deadline submission to 2023 FCAT LAB is 19th March.
